Your body carried and sustained a human for 9 months +
You might have labored, perhaps for days.
You didn’t fail.
Even though that’s what the Doctors might label your labor.
Your path to motherhood may not have been what you planned. But you are still a Mother.
I know the decision was hard. It might have been taken out of your hands to decide.
But you not only survived, you brought along with you another life.
So when you look down at your scar Remember that your body didn’t fail you.
For you felt the flutter (and elbow rolls) of life behind that scar.
Let it be a reminder of the

courageous
unconditional
selfless
lift a car
get cut open
kind of love...
